No Bullshit Communication is a practical, practicable, and, pretty damn fun way to learn the very concrete arts of exquisite collaboration
When people feel part of something meaningful and important, when they feel connected to a community, and when they trust that they are valued and respected, then they perform at their peak
THEIR CAPACITY
for creativity expands
THEIR LOYALTY
to the organization deepens
EVERYBODY WINS
Clients. Profits. People. Teams.
The problem is that very few of us have been well educated in the complementary arts of Candor and Active Listening as the right and left hand of collaboration
These two skills are not only essential to high functioning teams, but they are incredibly trainable.
Whether you want to take your organization’s communication culture from horrible to good or from great to awesome, we have a training for you that will not only educate your people on skills, but provide experiences that will build trust and connect them more authentically to one another.

SMOOTHIE TEST

I would make sure to do one thing before any meeting I had with one of the leads.
You see, every morning I make myself a potent green smoothie: a banana, frozen blueberries, some green superfoods, maca, collagen, MCT oil, raw eggs, and a dash of maple syrup for flavor. Just add water! And each morning before I would go into a meeting with one of the managers, I would make sure and leave a little green stain of smoothie on my nose with the rim of my Mason jar.
Basically, I would walk into that meeting
knowing that I had shit on my face
And regardless of what that person told me about what was happening in their team, I could tell a lot more about them by whether or not they pointed out the shit on my face.
I highly recommend this little test
to anyone interviewing candidates for an important leadership role.
Because at the end of the day you want to work with people who you can trust to tell you when you have shit on your face
WITHOUT
undue hesitation
WITHOUT
enjoying it too much
WITHOUT
laughing behind your back later
Courageous honesty is a really precious commodity
It is one of the cornerstones of healthy, high-performing teams
and an indicator species of healthy culture in an organization.
And it is highly teachable!
Guess what?
People perform better when they are happy and healthy.
Isn’t that weird?
Happy people are more creative, productive, and cooperative. They show up to work more often. They get sick less often. And they are much more likely to keep the job they have.
Honest, Clear, and Empathetic communication is essential in retaining good employees and building a culture of collaboration and connection.

TESTIMONIALS
“After taking the NoBS Training I was immediately able to have a difficult conversation with one of my Leads that I probably would have never approached in the past. It was awkward, it was frustrating, but I feel much better being able to say that I had the courage to speak up and request what I needed while simply sticking to the facts. It started off rocky, but I feel that we ended in a state of understanding. I am now feeling a lot more confident in my communication skills. Your workshop helped put things in a much more practical context that provided easier steps to put into action than I have ever experienced.”
“I really got a lot out of this training, even though my group just got the condensed version. I really think this should be a mandatory thing for all of our employees. I can’t think of one person it wouldn’t benefit, because everyone struggles with communicating their needs and conflicts sometimes. I now feel a little more comfortable expressing what I need to people in my life, and I’m sure with more time and practice, I’ll become much more competent with it.”
“Thanks for spending this time with me and my team. It was definitely rough at times, but this is the kind of breakthrough that I’ve been wanting for us for the past 2 years. There are a few relationships that I’m still a little worried about, but I think now that it’s all out there, I’m feeling a lot better about us as a team. This course has been the most beneficial I’ve been a part of during my 10 years with the company.”
